Let's Dance For Comic Relief!

That must have been the funniest thing I have seen in YEARS!!! I was dreading it when I heard Katie Price was going to dance, but her dancing to I Want To Break Free was HILARIOUS! Personally, I think she has a promising career as a Freddie Mercury impersonator! ;)
Unfortunately, I can't find a video or picture of it at the moment, but I'll try and post one as soon as possible!

On another note, sorry for not writing for almost 3 months (Not that anyone reads this blog, but, maybe...) However, I have been rather busy trying to bookm as many events as possible to fill my life to the brim with Queen; later this week I'm off to London to see the Stormtroopers In Stilettos exhibition and in May I'm going to see Brian May and Kerry Ellis LIVE!!!!! Can't believe my luck: we got seats right at the front!!! :D

Anyway, I'll try and write again soon, hopefully after we return from London,
Bye for now,

And so we grace another table
and raise our glasses one more time
there's a face at the window
and I ain't never ever saying goodbye

Happy Birthday(s)!

Hi,
Very belated happy birthdays to Brian and Roger and an on-time happy birthday to John, who is 59 today!
Happy Birthday!
By the way, I went to the Knebworth exhibition-I really enjoyed it but had expected there to be more there. There were the band's outfits from the Magic Tour and loads of tickets and stuff! Anyway, it was cool and I'm glad I went!
I'll try and post some pictures soon, but I'm really busy at the moment so it may be a while before I write again.

MONTREUX!!!

Hi all,
Back from my hols at last!
We spent an amazing 4 days in Montreux and even stopped off on the way back to Geneva!
I dragged my parents to the statue every single day (I'll upload some photos later this week if I have time)
It was totally awesome and I found the COOLEST shop ever-it has so much Queen stuff. I got a poster, a mug and loads of postcards! (on the receipt for the mug it said .Freddie Mercury 8.90!)

I found out the other day that there is a Queen exhibition at Knebworth House and I'm trying so hard to get my parents to take me (even though it is a 8 hour round trip!) I probably won't be allowed to go, but I live in hope!
(If someone stumbles upon this blog and has been to the exhibition please leave a comment telling me if it's worth the trip-I've started a topic on Queenzone but I don't think anyone will reply!)
Anyway,
Write again soon...possibly!

Ok, 3 months now...

Ok, so now it's been three months since I last posted. I think you may have guessed by now that I'm not very good at this blogging thing!
Not really much news-Brian and Roger are playing at The Royal Albert Hall in November but I probably can't go (just like I can't go to the Proms to see Brian and Kerry Ellis)
The other week I went to see One Night Of Queen which was totally awesome! If anything, they've got BETTER!
Not much else to say really...except...I'm going to Swizerland on Sunday!!!
Wooo! I'm so excited-I'm finally going to Montreux!!!
Anyway, that means I won't post again for at least three weeks but I'll try to post as soon as I get back-even though no one reads this blog anyway!
See you later

I know it's been almost two months but...

Sorry I haven't written in AGES! I've been so busy. Why is it that I get given essays in every subject at the same time?! I've been so busy with homework and other stuff that I haven't had time to write.
I'm finally getting round to relaxing and enjoying my Easter holidays-too bad I go back to school tomorrow!
Actually, during the holidays I've had some pretty good luck - I got my results for my music exams and passed both of them (yey!)
Also, I went shopping in Whitby last week and we were just on our way back to the car when we spotted a collectors/second hand shop. We went in (my dad and I) and looked around, we were just leaving when I spotted a Queen II LP on a shelf. Despite the fact I already have it on CD, I bought it (it was really cheap so I thought I should!) The guy in the shop looked a bit surprised when I came up to the counter to buy it (probably because i looked like a bit of a goth at the time)
I haven't actually listened to it yet, what with being so busy and all, but I'll probably listen to it later today. Although knowing me I won't get round to it for another week!
I'll probably just be about to listen to it when the CDs I've ordered arrive and I'll end up listening to them instead! I've just ordered Another World and Back To The Light from Amazon. I actually have Back To The Light already but my copy has a scratch and jumps in Last Horizon so I decided to buy a new copy. It's only a fiver online!
Anyway, I should go because I should really be doing my RS homework right now and I've just noticed that the Hammersmith '75 torrent has just finished downloading. Guess that means the homework will have to be postponed while I watch that!
See ya!

I was ROCKED!

OMG! WWRY totally rocks!
I saw it on Wednesday at the Dominion and it was so cool!
I even bought yet another Queen T-shirt. Woo!
I took some stereos of the massive Freddie statue outside and I'll probably post them on here sometime in the near future.
So, yeah, I'm in a pretty good mood right now. Made even better by the fact Queen in Budapest is on the Bio. channel as we speak! (unfortunately my dad's on the phone to the bank so I have been banished upstairs and therefore can't watch it! Boo hoo! I shouldn't be watching it anyway-I have a history essay on the Russian revolution to finish and I've already got Queen in Budapest on DVD)
Anyway, I don't have much else to say right now...so, bye!

DIE JEDWARD, DIE!

DIE JEDWARD, DIE!
I hate those gits-I can't believe they are in the charts! And with that horrible version of Under Pressure of all things! I mean, Vanilla Ice may have maimed the song terribly, but surely Jedward finished it off. What's worse is that ALL my friends are singing it! ARGH!
Should I just give up, go into a corner and die? I might as well. Every time I hear it on the radio, I spiral deeper into depression-so deep that not even looking at my phone (my background is the picture of me, Brian May and Elena Vidal) can cheer me up! That's really bad. I may need counselling, again.
Apart from that mini rant, I don't have much to say right now (as you can probably tell)
...except...
I can't believe it, On Wednesday I'm going to LONDON-To see We Will Rock You!
Woo! How cool is that?
I can't wait.
I also feel really chuffed because I was out shopping the other day and I found this Queen T-Shirt in a shop-it had the I Want To Break Free photo on it and I really wanted to buy it, but it was WAY to expensive! But I'm chuffed that I found it anyway.
You may think I'm crazy right now, but I'm not. I'm just going slightly mad!

I'm going to MONTREUX!

Wow, I can't believe it!
In the summer holidays I'm going to Switzerland for 2 weeks and we're going to stay in Montreux for a while.
I will finally get to see the Freddie statue!
Unfortunetly we can't go the Memorial Weekend because that's during term time. I'll just have to go a different year.
But I have a feeling that 2010 is going to be a good year-in February I'm going to see WWRY in London and then later this year I'm going to see One Night Of Queen AGAIN!
I think 2010's going to be like a repeat of the highlights of last year but without all the bad bits inbetween!

By the way, I've just discovered this totally awesome blog by one of my friends. It's nothing to do with Queen but it's pretty rocking!

Have a good 2010
